The Samaritan Woman Continued

Set the scene…
Today we return to Jacob’s Well just outside Sychar in Samaria. As Jesus rests in the midday heat, he begins a dialogue with a Samaritan woman who has come to draw water.

In our previous story, we saw how Jesus addressed this woman with compassion and dignity, inviting her into a life-changing conversation rather than condemning her. Viewing her through the lens of Jesus’ grace, we will now examine the "good news" they shared—a message she eventually carried back to her entire village.
