Set the scene...
Today we meet Junia as we look at a short passage about her in Romans 16. Though her mention spans only a few sentences, they reveal a profound story. She and her husband Andronicus likely lived in Rome because Paul greets them at the end of his letter to the churches there. Paul also reveals that they were early Christians, suggesting they may have lived near Jerusalem, Judea, or Galilee during the earliest days of the movement.

There are many unknowns about Junia’s life, but we will study what we do know in order to learn more about this significant follower of Jesus.
